'07 Chevrolet Avalanche

The 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche is a definite upgrade since the previous makes of the Avalanche, this time adding a dash of performance to its reputation for being a versatile pickup truck. Improvements in the 2007 Avalanche include new engines, a realigned midgate, and a revamped suspension and frame.

The 5.3-liter V8 engine of the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche delivers a higher horsepower (320hp) than the earlier models. A 6.0-liter V8 capable of delivering 366 horsepower is optional in the LTZ and LT trims. All the models are provided with an automatic four-speed transmission. The rear and front suspension and power steering mechanism have been updated for improved handling capabilities.

The most versatile feature in the Avalanche is undoubtedly its midgate, which now allows the bed to extend inwards instead of over the rear edge of the vehicle. With a reduced turning radius, traction control, ABS and multiple airbags, the 2007 Avalanche as a pickup truck bears with it a sporty feel.


'05 Chevrolet Avalanche

Although it is true that pickup trucks are distinctive for their versatility, few pickup trucks are as versatile as the '05 Chevrolet Avalanche.

2007 Chevrolet Avalanche

2005 Chevrolet Avalanche
